TikTok is an app that loved by millions of people, although it is at the center of a national examination in the U.S. and other countries for being loved by witches, wizards, and convicted people. The app was currently accused of hooking children up with drug dealers. It also announced that it would be donating a $200 million funding for creators and researchers on its platform.
This attempt kept everyone wondering the company will do that after being scrutinized and banned from some countries. Why not spend the money on something else you might- Vanessa Pappas, who manages TikTok’s U.S. operations, explained that starting in August, U.S. creators will be able to apply for their own cut of the $200 million to support their “innovative” content. The funds will be evenly distributed throughout 2021 and are expected t grow over that time.
TikTok has grown to become a really good source of income and opportunity for creators and their loved ones. “As our community continues to flourish, we’re committed to fostering even more ways for our creators to earn livelihoods by inspiring joy and creativity” – Vanessa Pappas Wrote. This is the first attempt TikTok has made to fund the creators including teenagers or otherwise.
The company’s main aim is to draw followers from other social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The fund is a real effort to win followers with talent and passion or to reward the folks presently on it over to TikTok. It is exciting, now you know your efforts of being a creator won’t be in vain because you made it the weird and wacky place a lot of us know it to be.
And considering how TikTok users have been leaving the platform in groups as of recent, because they are under the national security pressure in the U.S. or because it was completely banned in India, the platform needs all the good press with creators that it can assemble. The $200 million budget might distract the creator, but TikTok is still under the watch of federal regulators.
