Some time ago, the company announced that it’s working on a Sonic the Hedgehog 3D animated series but Netflix has since deleted the tweet. If we had to guess, Netflix pulled the tweet because the official annoucement was meant to go out during The Games Awards.
From the information we got from the company, we know the show begin streaming sometime in 2022, meaning it will miss Sonic’s 30th anniversary. The company also mentioned that Wild Brain and Man of Action Entertainment are on production duties.
