Before now, the Apple TV app has been available on every platform with consoles being an exception. For consoles, this is now in the past as Sony has openly stated that the Apple TV app is one of the media apps in the PlayStation 5. With this new release, you can Stream Apple TV+ shows just like you do on other platforms. Individuals can rent or buy movies and shows and can also sign up for premium channels. The PlayStation 4 isn’t going to be left out in the addition of the Apple TV app.
Evidence from Windows Central currently proved that the Apple TV app is also coming to Xbox consoles. Xbox owners should be expecting this. It shouldn’t be a surprise when news about this comes to you.
Addition Options
Sony has gone the extra mile in ensuring that the PS5 console comes with other options too. These options include; Disney+, Spotify, Netflix, YouTube, and Twitch. In the future, Sony hopes to add options like; Amazon Prime Video, MyCanal, Peacock, and Hulu. Just watch out for this.
Apple is still working to make sure that the Apple TV app is available not just on Sony platforms but also on LG Smart TVs.
Launch of the Apple TV App on PlayStations
Apple plans to launch the Apple TV app on PlayStations on Thursday, November 12, which is the date of the PS5 launch.
