Citi Double Cash Card
The Citi Double Cash card offers 1% cashback on all purchases (1% when you buy plus another 1% as you pay), making it one of our favorite cash-back cards.
The main difference between Citi Double Cash and some other flat-rate cards is that there’s no need to sign up for rotating bonus categories—the rate of return stays consistent.
And unlike many rewards credit cards, there’s no annual fee to worry about. The best part: There are 0% intro APR periods on both purchases and balance transfers, so if you know you have a big purchase coming up but don’t want to deal with interest charges, it can save you money to transfer your balance over and then pay off that debt with your new card.
Capital One Quicksilver
One of my favorite credit cards is Capital One Quicksilver. It has no annual fee and awards 1.5% cashback on all purchases, with a higher rate of 2% if you pay your balance in full each month.
There are some nice perks, like a free FICO score (which can be extremely helpful when checking your credit) and no foreign transaction fees.
And since there’s no minimum spending required to earn rewards, I use it pretty much every day—because who doesn’t like free money?
A word of caution: This card carries an APR of 24.99%, so only make purchases that you know you can pay off right away (or very close to it). Otherwise, debt payments will significantly outweigh cash-back rewards during that time period.
Discover it
This card is so easy to use that it’s tempting to just leave it in your wallet and forget about it. The cashback rewards are incredibly simple: There are no rotating spending categories, no activation required, and no limits on how much you can earn.
Cardholders will receive 1% cashback on every purchase they make—every day—and they’ll also get a bonus of 10% every quarter they have their card (for a total of $120 each year).
You also don’t need to worry about redeeming rewards since Discover automatically credits them right into your account.
If you still want a credit card for travel or other perks, consider pairing your new cash-back offer with one of these rewards cards.
You’ll be glad you did try this card out.
Express Blue Cash Preferred
The cash-back rewards in your wallet are a great way to save money on everyday purchases. But why settle for one bonus when you can get multiple ones?
The Chase Express Blue Cash Preferred a credit card is a great option if you’re looking to double up. This Visa-branded credit card offers 3% cash back at U.S. supermarkets (on up to $6,000 per year in purchases, then 1%), 2% at U.S. gas stations and select U.S. department stores, and 1% back on all other purchases—with no annual fee.
This card also comes with a slew of added perks. For instance, you can enjoy extended warranty protection on your purchases and a 24/7 concierge service that helps you with travel bookings, reservations, or event tickets.
You can even get car rental insurance if your trip is delayed and you need to make alternate arrangements for transportation. All these extras come at no extra cost.
Chase Freedom Unlimited
The Chase Freedom Unlimited card, which charges an annual fee of $0 and has no foreign transaction fees, offers 1.5% cashback on all purchases.
This card has a cash-back deal that’s hard to beat: The more you spend, the more rewards you get. You earn a flat 1.5% cashback on every purchase – no categories to keep track of or special sign-ups needed to earn higher rates.
And if you have a bank account with Chase, you can redeem your rewards as deposits into that account or have them sent straight to your favorite charity too – it’s up to you.
We do not recommend carrying a balance from month to month and paying interest — you’d essentially be losing money in exchange for something extra in your daily life.
