The Google Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max comes with 11 different clock faces for you to change from time to time. Now you no your Google Nest Hub can also serve as a digital clock and not just smart display.
Basically, Google introduced two ways for changing the clock face on your devices. It’s either you use the Google Home app on your mobile phone or you can just ask Google to change it for you.
It’s not possible to change the Nest Hub’s clock face directly on the smart display without using your voice first. Fortunately these methods below also work for the second generation Nest Hub.
Things You Need to Know About Clock Faces on Google Nest Hub
⦁ It is not possible to use custom clock faces on the Nest Hub. All you can do is choose fomr one of the 11 clock face or replace it with one of your photos from Google Photos library.
⦁ None of the clock faces on the Nest Hub simultaneously show the time and date. You will find clock faces with time and weather or date and weather, but not one showing the time and date along with the weather.
How to Change the Clock Face on Your Google Nest Hub Using the Google Home App
⦁ First, open the Google Home app on your iOS or Android devices.
⦁ Click on your Nest Hub or Hub Max.
⦁ Tap on Settings icon in the top-right corner and navigate to Photo Frame > Fullscreen Clock.
⦁ 11 different clock faces will appear together with their preview.
⦁ Select anyone you like and it’s automatically applied to your Nest Hub.
How to Change the Clock Face on Google Nest Hub Using Your Voice
Using your voice to change your clock face is easier than the method above. Just say, “Hey Google, set photo frame” or “Hey Google, change the clock face.”
Your device will then show you three categories for Photo Frame. The choice comes from Google Photos, Art Gallery, and Full screen clock. imply select the one you like, and it will be applied. Make sure you select the Full screen clock.
