Disney+ has a really huge surprise for Taylor Swift fans. Starting at midnight PST (3 AM ET) on Wednesday, you’ll be granted access to stream an “intimate concert” of Folklore, her recent album.
It was filmed at the eponymous studio upstate New York in September and is titled Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions. It’s the first-ever Swift had been in the same room as her collaborators, with whom she recorded the album remotely.
In the film, she performs Folklore’s 17 songs in order with the help of co-producers Aaron Dessner (The National) and Jack Antonoff (Bleachers), as well as guest Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). She also tells the stories behind the songs on Folklore, which has been the best selling album for 2020 so far.
This isn’t the first time a Swift concert film has been on Disney+. At the beginning of 2020, a performance of songs from the previous album, Lover, aired on ABC before getting to that platform and Hulu.
