A document scanning app has been launched by Google’s in-house incubator, Area 120 named Stack. The app scan and categorizes documents with Google’s Document AI tech. Although its only available to Android users in the US at the moment.
Stack Uses AI to Make Document Scanning and Searching Stress Free
In a post on The Keyword,, it was pointed out that the team at Area 120 developed Stack by “applying DocAI’s enterprise technology to personal documents.”
All you have to do to uses it is click a picture of it using the app and algorithm takes over. It suggest a name foor the doocument and also categorizes it for you, but you can change whenever you like. Stack has made it easy for you to locate your documents.
Even with rivals everywhere that suits your taste, I think you should give Stack a try because it comes with some key features that’s found in no other. According to Google, this includes details such as “due date or total amount due.” Which allows for much faster searching.
Like that’s not enough, Stack can sync all documents with Google Drive. You don’t have to worry about loosing your documents.
Founder Of Stack
Stack was the idea of Socratic, an education startup Google acquired in 2018.
According to Christopher Pedregal, the founder of Socratic:
“At Socratic, we used Google’s computer vision and language understanding to make learning easier for high school students. I wondered if we could apply the same technologies to make organizing documents easier.”
Stack Document Scanner
No company stands close to Google when it comes to AI technology. It’s quite unfortunate that the app is only available to Android users in the US, prompting iOS users to use other apps to scan their documents.
