What is Google Trends?
According to WIKIPEDIA, Google Trends is a platform developed by Google which analyzes search queries across different locations, regions, and languages.
This search queries volume result is then embedded in a graph and is compared based on volume and time.
This free service was mainly developed for advertisers to know what customers are searching for, how they’re searching for it, and what they want.
Overtime, the use of Google Trends has expanded to use by bloggers, and content creators, now that it is down, what would people do?
The platform has helped a lot of people in their businesses and more, the fact that Google Trends is down poses a threat to many businesses.
It has been noticed as shown in the images below that the platform displays short term results as opposed to long term results.
The above is not good for businesses as one cannot use a search result based on a short period of time to generate keyword for businesses.
Long term search results are the best for business as they are more sustainable.

Reasons Why Google Trends Is Not Working
There are numerous reasons why the platform is defective, and they are,
- Server Problems: This may be due to Google’s internal server issues, or probably, the server is down.
- Database Update: This may be due to the fact that the Database is being updated in order to make the platform more reliable.
- Other Minor Issues: This may be due to errors which may have not been detected by Google.
These are the most reasonable reasons why the Google Trends platform may be down.
This is not to say that the platform is totally down, only a part of the platform is currently not working as it would.
