A Cryptophone can be seen as a telephone that establishes security against eavesdropping and electronic surveillance. Not until the release of Cryptophone, a phone that is capable of processing telecommunication signals to make them unexplainable to an unaccepted listener so that the conversation could be heard like a new technology that is seen only in movies.
Because of the vast secret listening to private conversation on people, mostly in the United States of America gave rise to the need for a phone that cannot be hacked into. A Las Vegas-based manufacturer by name Goldsmith manufactured a device called GSMK Cryptophone which is expensive and its market value is around $3,500. It uses an Android Operating System (OS) version that is licensed from a German Company GSMK. The security modification of this version of Android is the addition of call encryption and corrections to the security breaches. The Cryptophone is a normal Samsung Galaxy S3 handset that cost only $350, what the Les Goldsmith Company does is that they wipe the existing software from the Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and replaces it with the German Company GSMK Android Operating System (OS).

The price of a Cryptophone which is $3,500 is sure pretty expensive, the Cryptophone is actually not meant for small business users and individuals. Maybe as time goes on, the masses will seek products that will secure their communication and not be trackable online and will join the security rush.
The Les Goldsmith Company might not be as popular and similar to the phone company we know of like Apple and Samsung, but not being able to keep up with demand and a weekly production of 400 smartphones is something interesting and shows that the Cryptophone is a good innovation.
The Cryptophone market value of $3,500 comprises three years of service and not the call charges. The GSMK Cryptophone is made to render 360-degree protection against the interception of confidential voice calls, messages, and against an attack of device itself.
