Microsoft finally launched it’s new vertical tabs UI to the world earlier this month. The Redmond giant is now creating ways to upgrade the usability in the vertical tabs mode. Not too long ago, it starting working on the possibility of hiding the title bar when using vertical tabs.

How to Hide Title Bar in Vertical Tabs Mode on Microsoft Edge
Presently, the title bar is located at the top of browser above the address bar. Although, you can already see the web page’s title in the left sidebar, the title bar being present might seem unnecessary.
Here’s how you can deactivate the title bar in the vertical tabs mode.
- Open Edge Dev or Canary and head to edge://flags. Type in ‘Vertical tabs hide title bar’ in the search box.
- Select Enabled from the dropdown menu and restart the browser.

The browsers looks cooler and better when you after hiding the title bar. We could expect Microsoft to add a toggle to help users easily enabled or disable the title bar while using vertical tabs in the foreseeable future.
