YouTube TV is an internet television service owned by YouTube which is a subsidiary of Google. As much as their services are satisfactory to a lot of users, some users may not have gotten the quality or type of service they initially expected or they may also have found a better option. If you want to cancel your YouTube TV subscription, here’s how to go about it.
Cancelling From Your Mobile App
Although you can access the YouTube TV app on both your iOS and Android mobile devices, when it comes to canceling your subscription, it can only be done on your Android device because the feature currently isn’t available on the iOS version of the App.

First, open your YouTube app on your android device and click on your account at the upper right part of the home page. Next, you would click on “Settings” on the new page. In the settings tab, click on “Membership”. Click on “Pause or Cancel membership” in the YouTube TV section. On the next page, just at the bottom of the page, click on “Cancel” to end your YouTube TV membership. At this point, if you would just prefer to suspend the service temporarily, you can choose “Pause” to suspend your membership instead until you’re ready to resume. To continue your canceling, after clicking on “Cancel”, you would be given a list of reasons to choose from to respond to why you’re canceling your subscription. You can either choose from the list or choose “other” if your reason isn’t listed, then you can type out your reason. After doing this, go to the bottom of the page and click on “Continue Cancelling”. After this, you would be given a list of services you would miss out on if you cancel your subscription. If you’re sure about the decision, you can proceed to click on the “Cancel Membership”, and after doing this, your subscription would be canceled successfully.
Cancelling From The Web
First, go to the YouTube TV official website and enter your login details. Click on your account at the upper right part of the home page. Next, click on “Settings” on the new page.
