Log into Facebook
Log into your Facebook account and go to your Page. In one of the right column boxes, there should be a button or link that says Page Info. Click it.
You will be taken to a new box where you can see all sorts of information about your Page, including who administers it and how many people have liked it. Beneath that, in most cases, you’ll see a tab for Settings. Click that.
Click on Page Tab
Before you go about changing your Facebook Page’s name, click on ‘Page’ from within your admin panel.
You’ll be taken to a page that displays all of your organization’s pages and gives you access to various tools and settings.
Click on General at the top right-hand corner of the screen and choose Edit Page Info. Scroll down until you find your Page’s current name, then replace it with whatever you’d like by clicking on Save Changes. This is what you’ll use as a handle for later steps.
Click on Edit Page Info in Admin Panel
Edit Page Info is where you’ll find out what that lovely blue link says. If it says Name, then you should go ahead and click on it.
You’ll be prompted with a pop-up box that has some space for text as well as an area for adding a title. In here, you’ll want to include:
- The current name,
- A redirect message (not required),
- The new name,
- And if you’re updating anything else on your page in addition to just changing its title (e.g., its address), those can go here too.
Once you’ve got all that information filled out, hit Save Changes and watch as everything magically updates!
Why Can’t I Rename my Facebook Page?
Changing your Facebook Page’s name won’t affect your likes or fans. You’ll still be able to access all of those people from your old Page, and they will be notified that you’ve changed your Page’s name when you switch.
If you decide to change it back, just go through our steps again and select a new Page Name.
How Many times can I Change my Facebook Page Name?
Unlike many other changes you make to a Facebook Page, there is no limit on how many times you can update your Page’s name.
However, each time you do so, users will have to click Like again on your Page. The number of times that users need to re-like a page before they no longer have to click Like again is unknown and unconfirmed.
The confirmation process is also applied when changing a Page’s username. Users will have to re-confirm that they Like your Page in order for you to make that update.
How do I Change my Facebook Page Name on my iPhone?
Go to Settings, General, and then Profile. You should see a Use custom name option at the bottom. Tap it and select Change on the top right corner of the screen.
There, you can either enter a new page title or use an existing custom nickname (if you already have one).
Once you do that, tap Save Changes in the bottom right corner. You are now all set with your new page title.
