Sometimes the best way to come to an agreement is to take a poll, especially in the corporate world where making a decision can be crucial to the survival of the business, and making the wrong decision or basing on assumptions can have terrible repercussions. By taking a poll, all options can be given a fair chance of trial. Microsoft teams feature the opportunity to make a quick poll and enable your team to come to a middle ground on any issue with varied views. With Microsoft teams, just any member of the team can start a poll, and apart from using the poll to make a decision, it could be used to access the team’s preference with regards to a particular subject. To create a quick poll in Microsoft teams, follow these simple steps.
- First, sign in your Microsoft teams and open a new chat window.
- Click on the ellipsis among the tools on the tab.
- Next click on “Forms” among the apps that would be displayed. When Forms is open, you can now type in your question into the box and fill in the two answers. You can also choose to add more answers by clicking on “Add Option” or you can toggle the “Multiple answers” option at the right corner to create room for more answers.
- Having completed what your poll requires, click on “Next”. On the window that follows, you would see a sample copy of how your poll would appear, go through the details, and if everything is intact, you can click on “Send”.
- However, if you need to make some corrections, you can click on “Edit”. After you send the poll, it would automatically be displayed in your chat for your team members to access.
