Snapchat is among the most well-known social media apps in the whole world. With Snapchat, you can make interesting videos of yourself and take nice pictures with their unique filters. This article is going to teach you how you can delete a Snap from your Story or from Memories on Snapchat. As of February 2017, it is impossible to delete a sent Snap, even if you choose to delete your account because of it.

- The first thing to do if you want to delete a snap from your story is to open Snapchat. You will see it on your home page with a yellow color that contains a ghost icon.
- Swipe your phone to the left on the camera screen, in order to open the Stories page.
- Then click on the 3 dots located on top at the right corner close to “My Story”.
- Choose the Snap that you wish to delete from your Story.
- Then click on the trash icon. You can find it on the lower side on the right corner of the screen.
- In case you wish to save the Snap to your phone gallery before you proceed to delete it, click on the Save button (∨) at the lower side on the right corner of your phone screen.
After that, you can click on Delete and the Snap will be deleted from your Story.

To Delete A Snap from Your Snapchat Memories
- Click open your Snapchat from your homepage just by clicking on the icon.
- Then swipe up on the camera screen to open the Memories page.
- Choose a saved Snap or Story you that you wish to delete.
- Then click on Edit & Send. You can find this at the bottom of your phone screen beneath a caret (^).
- Click on the trash icon. this is located on the lower side at the left corner.
- After that, click on Delete and the selected Snap or Story will be deleted from Memories.
