When making transactions like receiving money, buying airtime, and paying utility bills, it is known that you don’t get any reward for making those transactions. This is because you are actually making a transaction (which is giving and not taking). The only difference here is that an app is a medium by which the transaction is made. PalmPay, on the other hand, is an app that rewards you for every transaction you carry out on the platform. Transactions like the few I mentioned earlier and everything else you can do with the app. The only limiting factor is that the user can only make payments but not receive payments during transactions.
Currently, the app is supported by only four countries which are; Nigeria, Hong Kong, China, and the united states. As a result, the app is only available in these countries. PalmPay would likely be available everywhere eventually, like the countries in Africa, the middle east, and Asia.
Signing up
When signing up, the app would require some personal details like:
- Your phone number
- An SMS verification code
- Your name
- A valid Email address
- Finally, you will have to create a security PIN.
Immediately all these are done, 200 palmpoints will be granted to you just for signing up.
How To Earn From Palmpay App
One of the main ways to make money while using the PalmPay app is to join their PalmForce program.
when you buy airtime, you get a 10% bonus in the form of palmpoints. Which can be saved up to 50% on future airtime and biller purchases.
You get a 5% bonus in the form of PalmPoints when you pay for a bill through palmpoints. These bills include your water, cable or electricity bills, and so on.
You earn 100 Naira when you top up your PalmPay wallet with 1000 naira, including 100 palmpoints (This bonus is given once a week)
Each time someone signs up on PalmPay with your referrer code and they carry out their first transaction, you would earn 300naira. Your friends will also benefit. They would get 75 points after registering with your referral code and another 75 points after they carry out a transaction
You could also earn on PalmPay by inviting your friends. This can be done with the app by going to the menu, then clicking on Invitation to view your invitation code in form QR code, URL, and code. This invitation code can be shared with friends and family.
Unlike some other apps, PalmPay doesn’t have the feature for borrowing/lending money but I believe that it is a work in progress.
