Apple is well known to set the pace in the world of device software with their ever-improving technology features. While it isn’t clear why the library folder has to be hidden in some versions of Mac, they definitely should have their reasons. Although it’s the manufacturer’s choice, some people may prefer having it otherwise. If you’re the type that needs your library folder to be visible at all times, or you just can’t seem to find it on your desktop, then having to search for it every time you need it must have become quite irritating for you, hence your reason for reading this article. The good news is, it’s quite easy to find and you can also choose to unhide it permanently so you can always have access to it. These are your options.
If You Just Want to Find the Library Folder
Navigate to your finder and click on the “Go” option among the other options, next you would see the library among the list in the drop-down menu. This is how simple it is to find your library folder, however, this is just a temporary way of accessing it, because it would disappear as soon as you enter the particular folder you want to access. So, if you just need it temporarily, you can always find it this way. However, if you need to always access it without having to do this all the time, then keep reading.

Add It to Your Favorites
Navigate to your finder and click on the “Go” option, Next press the “option” key on your keyboard and click on “library”. Next, you would drag the library and drop it among the list where you have your “Favorites” (at the left corner of the screen). Now you can always access the library folder among your favorites, you can also view all the contents of your library folder displayed whenever you access the library folder from here.
Keep It Permanently in Sight
Navigate to the finder and go to the “Home Folder”. Next click on “View” and then on “View Options”. Among the options, click on the box for “Show library folder” to tick it. By doing this, you can always access your library folder directly and permanently. Also, note that this alternative method is for the Mac X Mavericks and other versions later.
