Spider is one of the solitaire games that has become well known via its incorporation with Microsoft Windows. The game differs in difficulty from fairly easy to very difficult which is determined by the number of suits you have used and the Solitaire City version will reward you with more points if you win the game as you are playing the more difficult rules.
How To Play The Game
The card layout
The game is usually played with two packs of cards. After shuffling both decks together thoroughly, 4 rows of 10 facing down cards are dispersed to form the columns. The 4 cards are also dispersed face down to the 4 leftmost columns and then another card facing up is dispersed to the end of every column. The remaining cards are kept face down to be used as the stock.
The spider solitaire is mostly played with two established decks of playing cards, but this game is actually more difficult that way. There is also a variation that exists that uses 104 cards which is Spider One SuitandTwo Suit but it only makes use of the Spades in the one suit game and also Spades and Hearts in the two-suit game. Then you need extra packs of cards in order to make up the numbers. This actually makes the game a lot easier.
The Objectives Of The Game
The main object of the spider solitaire game is to build up cards of downward suit array from the King to the Ace. For instance: K, Q, J, 10, 9,8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A within the tableau columns. After such an array has been formed, it will be removed to one of the 8 foundations automatically. After all the 104 cards have been played to the foundations as eight separate King to Ace arrays then you have a winner.

The Rules Of The Game
All the buildings are done on the tableau columns with the foundations not actually taking part in the game that much. You can be able to move any card that has been exposed from the other end of a tableau column to another tableau column if it will create a descending array (disregarding the suit). For instance: 5on 6 or 2on 3. You can also be able to move a packed descending array of cards as a group to another tableau column but that is if only they are from the same suit. Let’s say for example; 9, 8, 7 on 10 or 10. In other words, just try to accumulate the same suit of cards if possible, if not you will realize the game blocks easily. In case you finally managed to create a completed descending array of cards with the same suit from King to Ace, for instance; K, Q, J,10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A that means it will automatically be transferred to one of the foundations. In a situation whereby there are no more effective moves that can be made on the tableau, then hit on the stock to disperse another card to every tableau column. You should also know that you must fill every empty space in the tableau before you can be able to disperse cards from the stock.
