Facebook Messenger is a feature on Facebook which also functions as an app to help people share their ideas. This is one of the most popular messenger platforms in the world. It was created to enhance connectivity between individuals. FB Messenger makes communicate easier and faster without having to pay any bill.
Using FB Messenger isn’t in anyway difficult so long as you are a computer literate. Even if you are not a computer literate, a little briefing can help. But first, I will advise you download the Facebook Messenger App from the Google Playstore or Apple App Store.

- Visit your Google Playstore (Android Users) or Apple App Store (IOS Users)
- On your search bar, search “Facebook Messenger”

How to Use Facebook Messenger
So long as you have installed the App, the rest is history. When this feature was designed, people only saw it as a chat window which aids them to communicate. Once you open the FB Messenger, you will see a list of your friends who make use of it also. The page presented to you is the Chats page. At the top, you will see a camera icon which when clicked on, you are allowed to take photos, record videos etc. At the top also, you will see a search bar which will enable you to search out a friend without having to scroll all the way down.
Below the search bar, you will see your friends who are presently online with a green circle attached to their profile photo. Also, you have “Your Story” which a plus sign in a circle. Once you click on this you can express yourself by adding media, links, and other ideas. Facebook Stories only last for 24 hours. As you click your friend’s account, a chat window will pop up. This chat window helps users to text chat with additional features like voice recording, emoji’s, camera, gallery, GIF’s located below the chat window. All for the purpose of helping people express themselves. At the top of the chat window, you will see the Video icon and the Cell Phone icon. Once you click on the video icon, you can begin a video chat with your friend. A click on the Cell Phone icon gets you Voice chatting with your friend.
