Fulbright-Smith Mundt scholars
This scholarship is designed to promote mutual understanding between Americans and people of other countries by awarding scholarships to students, scholars, teachers, professionals and artists from outside of the United States.
Any individual currently living outside of America who wants to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. institution may apply.
Chevening Awards
The Chevening Scholarship offers a year of postgraduate study or research in any subject available at UK universities.
It is one of nine prestigious awards administered by Chevening and designed to foster leadership, promote international understanding and improve global relations.
In 2022, up to 450 Chevening Awards will be offered to citizens of more than 60 countries around the world.
Rhodes Scholarships
The Rhodes Scholarship is a postgraduate award for study at Oxford University in England.
It was established in 1902 under trust and has evolved into one of most prestigious international scholarship programmes.
The scholarships are administered by a board of trustees, who meet four times a year.
Commonwealth Scholarships
The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) is a non-profit organization that aims to foster greater understanding of academic disciplines, countries, and cultures through international education.
There are three different levels of scholarships available: Queen Elizabeth II Scholarships; Commonwealth Shared Scholarship; and Research Councils’ Fellowships.
Students from over 50 countries can apply for these scholarships—including Canada.

CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange)
CIEE is a US non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides scholarships and academic programs to international students.
CIEE administers over 100 programs in 45 countries around the world. As a program of study abroad, there is no need to apply separately to CIEE and your college or university; you simply apply directly to your home institution as usual, noting CIEE as your chosen provider.
Commonwealth Graduate Award – CGA
The Commonwealth Graduate Award is a scholarship funded by seven countries of The Commonwealth, including Canada.
This award covers full tuition and provides a stipend each year of your studies (up to $14,000).
This award can be used in any discipline except medicine or dentistry.
If accepted into law or medical school after you complete your master’s degree you may still receive CGA funding for a maximum of three years at most universities.
