We have seen from some car making companies that in the nearest future we might say goodbye to carbon consuming vehicles and say hello to electric cars. Lunaz has now decided to bring old classic vehicles into the technology driving era. Most times people still prefer they drive their vintage cars regardless of how old it may look. The company Lunaz is expanding its lineup of old cars they intend to convert to electric cars from Jaguar XK120 and Rolls-Royce Phantom V and now Range Rovers from 1970-1994.
The prototype of 50 vehicles will be available in two different types: town and country. The town spec is more suited to the standard driving in cities on highways, with a focus on passenger comfort. The country spec is meant to bring modern engineering to these classic cars in an off-road setting.
With some extra modest customization including things like a backseat bar area for chauffeured passengers or modifications to the various stores, the company still provided areas to meet a country customers’ specific needs. Because it’s called “country” doesn’t mean the cars won’t come with fully loaded interiors and modern technologies.
The fun part is they aren’t as expensive as you think they’ll be These heavily modified Range Rovers start at £245,000 plus local taxes. The company says the first 50 are currently allocated and should ship to customers by the summer of 2021.
