The tech giant has designed a system for these Macs called Touch Alternatives. What it does is to copy what you do on an iPhone or iPad. It works exactly like those tortuous on-screen gaming controls you might have seen on smartphones. Like Apple’s BFFs, Google, and Facebook, they have decided to keep their iOS apps out of macOS completely.
But the issue with them is to install them. To do that you have to wonder about it on the Mac App Store, with an iOS filter on. “It’s the first step towards unifying Apple’s hardware and software on Macs, and just like the iPhone and iPad, the result is a sleek and polished experience,” Devindra Hardawar said.
