Mobile Exec confirms the release of five new devices on August 5th, during its forthcoming Unpacked Event. The president and head of Samsung’s mobile communication business, Roh Tae-moon revealed the launch of these five new devices coming out all at once in a blog post published by the company.
In the blog post, Roh said; “At this summer’s Galaxy Unpacked, we’ll be introducing five new powerful devices. You will be empowered to live life to the fullest with these devices in your hand and in your ears, and on your wrist).”
For some weeks now, there has been certain information about new devices the tech giant plans on pushing into the market. People are looking forward to seeing three phones, a pair of wireless headphones, and a smartwatch in the anticipated Unpack Event 2020. Leaks have revealed that the phones may most likely be Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Plus, and Note 20 Ultra while the wireless headphones is the Galaxy Buds Live.
Roh spoke more about the three priorities of Samsung’s mobile device for the future. First on the list is, “meaningful innovations” which Roh claims investment will pay a huge role in as the company has consistently invested in research and development in the past six months.
Furthermore, Roh said; “We’ll make mobile technology that’s more personal, intelligent, useful and secure. In the near future, that means more foldable display phones and devices with 5G connectivity”.
To finalize his statement, the executive said; “The pandemic posed a stiff test. It meant transforming quickly to take care of our local communities, partners, and employees, while still building resilience for future operations.”
