Snapchat has gone ahead with it’s busy week by announcing new features. Snapchat has announced location sharing in real-time, this feature is made to be used as buddy system. This is an upgrade of snap map feature which was invented in 2017.
Snap new live location option is a way to share your exact location with your love ones. The former version of snap mad shows only the approximate location, and the location works only when the user opens the Snapchat application.

To tackle the future privacy issues, Snapchat has introduced a handful of several security to avoid stalking and harassment. Also, the live location feature doesn’t work on 24/7 period. Instead, the organization says you can enable live location sharing with you love ones as long as 8 hours.
Additionally, you can disable the feature by default and you can pause sharing of live location without notifying the other person.
Also, there is way you can share your live location with all your Snapchat friends. It can only be done on a friend-by-friend basis. Snapchat advise that you should use the feature for love ones only.
How to Share Your Live Location
You can locate the new Live location option by accessing a friend’s profile on the Snapchat app. You can enable live location sharing with friends here. Just be sure you are running the updated version of Snapchat.
Finally, this is a new feature for Snapchat, over 250 million Snapchat users use this live location sharing per month. So it is important to the company growing on its location features.
