The game-making company is encouraging PS4 and PS5 owners to stay at home during the pandemic by bringing back its “Play At Home” initiative, giving users access to free games beginning from Marc and concluding in June.
Starting March 1st at 8PM PT / 11PM ET until March 31st at 8PM PT / 11PM ET, both PS4 and PS5 usersmwill have the chance to redeem 2016’s Ratchet and Clank at no cost; PS5 owners previously had access to a free version of the game via the PlayStation Plus Collection.
Sony announced the Play At Home initiative in 2020 after the company offered PS4 owners free digital copies of Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. You do not need an active PlayStation Plus subscription to redeem or access these titles, unlike the free PlayStation Plus games that are available every month. The company is also offering extended access for first time users subscribed to the anime streaming services Funimation or Wakanim.
