Mike Lindell, after getting ban from Twitter, claims his own social platform will be fully functional in a few more weeks.
Last January, Mike Lindell got himself banned from Twitter for “repeated violations” of its civic integrity policy—saying that former US President Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election.
Lindell’s Social Media Platform
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was spotted on the podcast of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk to announce the launch of his tech company to rival mainstream social media platforms.
“All the influencers in this country will be able to go to and not worry about YouTube and actually be able to talk,” he says. “We’re launching this big platform, so all the voices of our country can come back and start telling it like it is again.”
He’s yet to reveal the name of this platform, but he suggested that it’ll be more welcoming of far-right political stances than its competitors. At the time Lindell was banned from the platform, Facebook started to ban QAnon-related groups, pages, and accounts in October 2020, while Twitter removed 70,000 QAnon accounts around the same.
Things a beginning to look alike here. A few weeks ago, DonaldTrump told us was going to launch his own media soon. Lindell’s essentially following the footsteps of Trump.
However, unlike Trump, Lindell claims that his project has been in the works for four years now.
How Will Lindell’s Social Media Platform Look?
Lindell hasn’t given us any details about his upcoming platform. He name-dropped Twitter and YouTube, so you could assume that it’ll have blogging or video uploading features in order to compete on that front, but we don’t know anything for sure.
