UWE Bristol has one of the most diverse student bodies in the UK, with over 25% of our students coming from outside the European Union. Click the link below to apply:
We are dedicated to supporting these students in their academic careers, and providing opportunities to get involved in activities outside of the classroom.

However, sometimes additional funding can be required to support them during their time at university and to help them realize their potential whilst studying with us.
That’s why we offer a number of scholarships each year for international students, which you can find out more about below…
Scholarship Criteria
The program has been designed to support talented and motivated students from abroad who are in need of financial support.
Applicants must have at least three A levels at grades AAB, have an overall score of 95 points on their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or meet equivalent criteria.
Those applying for nursing courses must already be accepted onto a relevant course at UWE Bristol and possess a minimum of five GCSEs at grade A*-C or equivalent (or entry into Year 12).
The selection process is based on academic performance, suitability to study in Britain, and financial need.
Awards are made purely on merit so you will not be considered if you do not fulfill our entry requirements.
You may only apply once per year, providing your circumstances remain consistent.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for one of these scholarships, you must meet certain eligibility criteria. You should have completed at least one full year of study at a U.K. institution by 1 August 2018; either as an undergraduate or as a postgraduate student (pre-Masters).
If you are not a U.K. citizen or national, you will also need to demonstrate that you have been resident in the U.K. for three years prior to your course start date.
In addition, you should be starting a new course with us on 1 September 2018 and planning to take a minimum of 30 credits per semester.
If you wish to combine your studies with other paid employment during term time, we ask that it is no more than 20 hours per week.
Application Process
The UWE Chancellor’s Scholarship is a fantastic way to help kick-start your degree. We’re offering four awards, each of which will be awarded to an International student starting in September.
