Live streaming on social media is one of the recent features that has been adopted by several social media platforms, among which are Facebook and Instagram, popular among them is Tiktok. Tiktok has in the last year risen to new popularity as it allows users to explore so many videos from different Tiktok communities, comment, and share videos that they like, as well as create videos, make duets, and lots more. The app was created by the Chinese tech company ByteDance. Tiktok also keeps adding more tools to engage its users and give them premium entertainment which is unique to the app. However, when it comes to live streaming, there are some requirements that must be met before a user can live stream on Tiktok.
- Minimum Of 1,000 Followers
To stream live on Tiktok, you must have an expected audience of at least 1,000 followers. This criterion seems to be strict in a lot of regions where Tiktok is available. Therefore, if you’re going to stream a live video on the platform, you would have to put in some effort into getting more followers if you haven’t hit 1,000 followers yet. To get more followers, you should be active on the platform, make your videos and share them with friends on the Tiktok community, also comment and share videos by others, participate in challenges, and by the time you realize, if your videos are interesting, you would attract the attention of a lot of people and you would hit 1,000 followers and more.

- You Must Be At Least 16
It may have crossed your mind that this particular criterion can be forged, but you should also remember that providing false information about yourself could be considered a crime. The minimum age required to join Tiktok is 13 years, but if you’re going to stream live, Tiktok wants to ensure that you can be held responsible for the content you would stream.
Going Live
