Tom cruise Movies
Tom cruise being the biggest star of the movie industry of this generation. Cruise is spotted in so many iconic film moments that makes him have an edge than others in the same industry, movies like “need for speed”, “show me the money”, Top gun with many others.
Cruise not long ago celebrated his 50th birthday on the 3rd of July 2020.
Tom cruise has been a necessary darling through plenty of his career. Cruise has also received about two Oscar nominations for Best Actor in “Born on the Fourth of July” (1989) and “Jerry Maguire” (1996) plus every other as Best Supporting Actor in “Magnolia” (1999). Those are the three performances that provided him with Golden Globe Awards wins. His different four nominations with the Hollywood Foreign Press have been for “Risky Business” (1983), “A Few Good Men” (1992), “The Last Samurai” (2003) and “Tropic Thunder” (2008). Many of these roles have allowed him to work with some of the best administrators in the business, including Oliver Stone, Paul Thomas Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg, Rob Reiner and Cameron Crowe.
War of The Worlds
This movie was done in 2005, which basically was all about invasion of aliens. In this move Cruise played Ray Ferrier, a Regular Joe dock worker who, though not living with his kids, rushes to protect them and their mother as the aliens colonizes everything all in sight. Beyond that, it’s not a character-driven kind of film, but Cruise once again plays a convincing hero concerned with family, and that performance, combined with the Spielberg skill makes for a popcorn movie par excellence.
Mission Impossible the series
Tom acted in this series for 6 years, which were 1996, 2000, 2006, 2011, 2015, 2018, which boosted his career in the acting industry.
“Mission Impossible” (1996) — created the most iconic and best “Mission Impossible” image, that of Cruise being diminished by wires in order to keep away from laser alarms. The huge success of the film brought about the series that we have today, the movie has attracted such respected administrators as John Woo, J.J. Abrams, Brad Bird and Christopher McQuarrie.
Days of Thunder 1990
This movie has Tom cruise in it with lot of action but they seem not enough to compensate for the stock plot because of the poorly written dialogue.
Vanilla Sky 2001
A bold mix of genres, Vanilla Sky collapses into an incoherent jumble. Cruise’s overall performance lacks depth, and it’s difficult to feel sympathy for his narcissistic character. This movie was starring – Tom cruise, Cameron Diaz, Kurt Russell.
Rock of Ages 2012
The movie high spirited lack of common sense is almost enough to make up for its complete lack of importance, but Rock of Ages is ultimately too bland and overlong to justify its trip to the big screen. The movie was staring – Paul Giamatti, Russell Brand, Diego Boneta
Fair and Away
This was Handsome and very simple in nature, Far and Away has the beauty of an American epic without the breadth.
This movie was also staring – Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Thomas Gibson, Robert Prosky
