Wordle app is an application that lets you quickly and easily create word clouds. A word cloud consists of a set of prominent and frequently used words, with the most frequent terms appearing larger than less prominent terms.
A word cloud can be used to summarize text such as blog posts, articles, or tweets, or to visualize keywords that are used in online discussions.
How to Find an Image
If you’re looking to create a word cloud from your favorite novel, there are plenty of free tools to get you started.
One such tool is Wordle, an iPhone application that lets you create word clouds based on any text. Follow these steps to find an image of your choice:
- Open Wordle and type in your document or book passage in English or any other language.
- Next, you can change font style, size and color to get a better idea of how your Wordle will look. To view your word cloud in full screen mode simply tap on View Word Cloud at the bottom of your screen.
- Once you have your Wordle in full screen mode, simply use your finger to zoom in or out on a specific section of your image. This can be very helpful when you are creating a Wordle from any form of literature. For example, if you wish to create a word cloud based on ‘The Great Gatsby’ by F.

You’ll notice a pop-up asking if you want to copy an image or copy text.
Tap Copy Text: Once that is complete, open up your Notes App by tapping on it in your dock. At the top of your screen,
Tap + icon: Now all you have to do is tap on Return Paste option from within Notes App. That’s it! You can now save it as a PDF or share it as an image via different social media platforms.
Wordle is a very interesting App. It automatically creates a word cloud of any picture you choose to drag over it.
The results, which you can then save to your Photos Library, are often quite aesthetically pleasing. So how do you get your hands on it?
Save or Share Your Word Cloud in Multiple Ways
via email, in a photo album, or on Facebook. If you share your word cloud with others, you can save a copy of your image by tapping Camera Roll at the bottom of your screen. Choose to save it to All Pictures or to an existing album you might have already created. You can also choose to send it via email or upload it to Facebook. So you have your word cloud. What can you do with it? Wordle offers a few choices. You can email your image to friends, family or colleagues. Or you can share it on Facebook so that anyone else on that network who uses Wordle will be able to read your creation.
How to Download Wordle App on Your Iphone
To download Wordle from your device,
- First navigate to Apple’s App Store.
- Next, search for wordle in order to filter results.
- Select wordle free from any result lists that appear. Click on Install, then click on Open.
- Wait while wordle finishes downloading and preparing itself on your device.
Now you are ready to begin creating word clouds!
