The ZTE AXON family has brought their first-ever commercially available device under-display selfie camera. What we have all been waiting for is finally here, THE AXON 20 5G. This phone was released on Monday but will not be made available in the US and Canada. One fantastic feature that separates this phone from its peers is the under-display camera, even though this is the first commercially manufactured phone which has a cutting-edge camera feature. This phone is even made economically friendly which comes at an affordable price. ZTE saved on cost by going with a midrange snapdragon 765G chipset and built the phone with a plastic frame, but still, the processor is good enough to let you know go through your day-to-day activities without any feeling of sluggishness.
Shortcomings of the Axon 20 5G
- UNDER DISPLAY CAMERA: well, it is nice to have the under-display feature but the quality seemed to be washed, which is a compromise. Photos taken in low light with the front-facing camera is not at their best, the photos were either washed out or grainy. But either way, I think the images are passable when you consider the price and some other factors the phone offers. Although if you are looking to impress your friend with an unusual camera you might consider this phone since its camera is good enough except your looking forward to taking a well-detailed photo, Thus the A20 5G is not the right phone.
- SINGLE DOWNWARD FACING SPEAKER: Here all audio is coming from a single downward speaker which makes it hard to hear properly.
- The fingerprint reader unlocks inconsistently.
- WATER AND DUST RESISTANCE: There is no water nor dust resistance. Which I feel should have been actually included.

Why You Should Use the ZTE Axon 20 5G
Although the phone had some shortcomings but there are many reasons why you should use the ZTE AXON 20 5G, some of the reasons include;
The phone offers snapdragon 765G which enables 5G connectivity, the phone is also paired with 128GB of internal storage as a base configuration. That of the full-screen checks all boxes. The Hrr up to 90Hz. The HDR supports OLED and actually one of the biggest in town. How amazing is this?
The ZTE Axon 20 5G Box Packages
The phone comes inside a box that contains all phone equipment, some of which include the appropriate charger with a USB-A to USB-C cable used for charging and data transfer. The phone even comes with a ZTE transparent silicone case and a 3.5 mm to USB-C dongle because the phone does not have a headphone jack. But this came just as a bonus.
